The alleged designs of Asus' new ZenPad tablets have been leaked online.
Based on the images posted by online leaker Ausdroid, the new line of tablets from Asus will come in 7 and 8-inch variants.
The bigger model will have a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels while the 7-inch model will sport 1024x600 pixel-resolution. Ausdroid also noted that the 8-inch variant will have an aspect ratio of 4:3, which is similar to that of Apple's iPads.
The front side of the new ZenPad sports dual speakers while its back is covered by a material which appears to be soft-touch plastic. Aside from this, the edge of the tablet's rear side is lined with faux-leather.
This portion of the device also features the logos of the Asus ZenPad and Intel Inside, confirming previous reports that the upcoming tablet will be powered by an Intel processor, according to GSM Arena. However, it is still unclear if Asus will go with the Intel Z3560 or Z3530 SoC for the new ZenPad.
Other details revealed in the leak include the power button, which is positioned on the right side of the device, just below it volume controls. The device is also expected to have a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack on the top portion of the tablet.
The images also show a slot on the left side of the ZenPad, which could either be for a microSD card or a SIM card.
As for its other specs, GSM Arena noted that the upcoming device from Asus might have 8GB, 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage.
There is no official release date yet for the new line of Asus ZenPads. However, the company is expected to officially unveil its latest products during this year's Computex event which will take place from June 2 to June 6 in Taipei, Android Authority reported.
Hopefully, Asus will reveal more details regarding the ZenPad tablets in the upcoming tech expo.
