There will be a new documentary called Batkid Begins: The Wish Heard Around the World which would surely touch the hearts of all its viewers.
The documentary, which will soon hit theaters tells the story of a five-year-old boy named Miles Scott, who has been diagnosed with leukemia. The young boy earlier made headlines after Make-a-Wish foundation granted the boy's request to become his favorite superhero for the day - Batman.
On November 13, 2013, the foundation organizers turned San Francisco into Gotham City. This good deed created a worldwide phenomenon that drew in 25,000 supporters from San Francisco and nearly two billion participants on social media - including U.S. President Barack Obama himself, CBC News shared.
In appreciation, the Scott family established a Batkid Fund to help support the other pursuits of Make-A-Wish Foundation and turn other kids' dreams a reality.
The documentary will be released in select theatres on June 26 with top Hollywood actress Julia Roberts producing and starring in the feature film adaptation of the documentary.
Batman is a fictional comic book superhero published by DC Comics, and he was created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger. He actually made appearances in Detective Comics way back in May 1939 and was originally named "Bat-Man."
