Taylor Swift has once again established her prowess in creating hit singles that not only translate to record-breaking sales but also resonate the sentiments of her massive following all over the world. With her reported blossoming romance with one of the world's wealthiest DJs, Calvin Harris, it appears that the pop star has gained herself another unlikely fan. Rita Ora, the ex girlfriend of the 'Blank Space' singer's current romantic interest, shared her admiration for the talent and character of Swift.

In an interview with Vice, Ora described Swift as "one of the most incredible songwriters of our generation." Given her connection with the "Shake It Off" hitmaker's current beau, Ora clarified that her compliment regarding Swift's talent is genuine. She asserted, "I'm not even just saying it. I absolutely adore her music and love what she stands for."

Ora went on to say, "You pay respect to people who deserve it-Beyoncé and Madonna. When Madonna was going through it on this last record, I was one of the first people to post my support on Instagram."

She also explained that she does not see the need to "battle her [Madonna] because of her age," referring to the colossal media attention brought about by the veteran singer's recent project. Ora described herself as a "girl's girl." She explained, "I support women and it comes back to you. I'd love that support. There's a fine line between believing in yourself and being a fucking [expletive]. I don't step on people's toes."

Moreover, it appears that the two special ladies in Harris' life are meant to meet at some point since Ora collaborated with English singer Ed Sheeran, one of Swift's closest buddies, just recently. "I did this incredibly beautiful song with Ed about our friendship; he's one of my best friends," she shared. "It's amazing having a friend in this industry of the opposite sex that you haven't hooked up with. He's such a legend. I respect him in so many ways," she added.
