People still could not get over the fact that Colin Firth's character Harry Hart, who takes on the moniker Galahad has been killed off in the movie Kingsman: The Secret Service. His co-star Taron Egerton, who plays Gary "Eggsy" Unwin still could not accept it either, and is even talking about the actor's possible role in the sequel.

Egerton said that there is no doubt that Firth's character died in the first film. To recall, Galahad engages in a brutal killing spree inside a church because of Valentine's (played by Samuel L. Jackson) manipulation. After he emerges from the horrifying situation, he was shot point blank by Valentine, much to the shock and surprise of everyone.

"Well, I mean, I think he's pretty dead. Shot in the head. But, I mean, I still have dreams that... I always thought it would be lovely to see Eggsy and Harry reunited," Egerton said in an interview with Cinema Blend. "I have this, you know, I have my own fantasies about that. But I haven't heard anything to suggest that he will be coming back. Unless they build a robot version of him, or he has an evil twin or something."

It was Galahad who transformed Eggsy's life from a troubled teen and into a self-assured secret agent. Not only did Galahad help him find a respectable job, but he also served as his father figure.

Eggsy's father was actually part of the Kingsman's secret service, but he died in the line of duty after he sacrificed his own life to save his comrades. Because of this, Galahad owes Eggsy's father a debt of gratitude. He visited the grieving widow and her son after he was buried and gave them a pin containing a telephone number. Galahad told them to call the number anytime they need help, and Eggsy eventually uses it to get himself out of a jam.

The original Kingsman movie directed by Matthew Vaughn was such a surprise success, banking over $400 million worldwide that its sequel is almost certainly guaranteed. Vaughn even promised earlier that if enough people bought tickets to the original Kingsman film, then they will find a way to bring Firth's character back to the big screen.

"A lot of people are very upset that Colin might not be in the sequel but I'm coming up with ideas at the moment. If people buy tickets in America, I've got a feeling we'll figure out a way for having Colin back," he assured.
