There is a brand new Jurassic World iPhone app that is sure to delight all dinosaur fans out there.

The app created by NBC Universal Media, LLC and developed by Tippett Studios is called the Jurassic World Mobile MovieMaker, and it allows fans to film their own footage and then simulate the post-production on a Jurassic movie. They can even add in a computer-generated dinosaur into their scenes.

According to iTunes, the app can "realistically add dinosaurs from Jurassic World to your videos and photos. Be a part of Jurassic World and share the magic with your friends."

Simply put, the app allows people to add 3-dimensional animated dinosaurs into their own creations, change the size and position of each creature, move the shadows, adjust the color and saturation, and then later share the edited photos and videos directly to their social media accounts.

The best part is that the Jurassic World Mobile MovieMaker is free for all to download and use.

It was released just this May 14, 2015, and people have already been sharing rave reviews about the app. In the customer reviews portion, one user commented that it was "way better than expected," and even added: "I honestly was expecting this app to be a waste of time, but it actually offers a lot more than I expected. You are actually able to rotate and adjust the lighting and color of the 3d modeled dinosaurs and even change the direction of light to more realistically place the shadow."

A different user noted that the app is already awesome, but developers need to make it better. "Lots of times it keeps (gliching) out so you need to fix that. You should add some more dinosaurs to so that we have more options, and also some new tools to do stuff," the user suggested.

The Jurassic World movie has been scheduled to hit cinemas on June 12, 2015. The new movie directed by Colin Trevorrow will introduce a lot of new dinosaurs to fans, including the ferocious and indomitable Indominus Rex, which will be the movie's main villain.

The director also teased that they will be showing the Ankylosaurus, which is a "bad ass dinosaur."

Trevorrow added that he hopes the movie Jurassic World will do justice to the previous Jurassic films created by legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg. He said that if he could pull the movie off, then it would be his "gift" to the talented director.
