Floyd Mayweather, Jr. won the boxing match of the century against Manny Pacquiao on May 2. The American boxing champ has never been defeated. Pacquiao, a Filippino professional boxer has since been in surgery and rehab for an arm injury.
"This is the first time that he (Mayweather) is thanking God before and after the fight," said Pacquiao in an interview with the Boston Herald.

“I know what you are thinking, that hopefully there would be a rematch. I like that. I want that. But for the moment, I am thinking of focusing on this shoulder, on my work and my family,” said Pacquiao on Wednesday, May 13.
Mayweather wrote to Stephen A. Smith from ESPN in a text message that he would wanted a rematch with Pacquiao after his shoulder recovers. Yet, Mayweather publicly stated that he changed his mind.
"Did I text Stephen A. Smith and say I will fight him again? Yeah, but I change my mind. At this particular time, no, because he's a sore loser and he's a coward,” said 38-year-old Mayweather.
“Pacquiao is expected to undergo surgery later this week. Los Angeles orthopedic surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache said the surgery usually requires nine to 12 months of recovery time. What can we expect from Pacquiao’s rehabilitation, especially with Mayweather reportedly being open to a rematch next year before he retires,” reported Sports Illustrated’s Jake Fischer.
36-year-old Pacquiao publicly stated that he will announce his future career decisions after he recovers from his shoulder injury. New York Post’s Page 6 reported that the rematch is already under negotiations. According to a source, the fight will occur at the MGM AEG Arena in 2016.
