A new trailer for ‘Minons’ have been released this week, featuring the yellow creatures who seek a new villainous master and steal the precious crown of Queen Elizabeth.

The ‘Despicable Me’ spinoff follows the story of Stuart, Kevin and Bob who are chosen as henchmen for a female super-villain and her husband, who are plotting to take over the world.

With the couple being voiced by Sandra Bullock and Jon Hamm, other cast members include Steve Coogan, Michael Keaton and Allison Janney.

In the latest trailer, the Minions are shown being recruited by Scarlet Overkill (Bullock), also recognized as the “greatest super villain” of all time.

Scarlet Overkill gives out instructions to the Minions for them to set sail for England and steal the crown of Queen Elizabeth, which they willingly followed.

Before they accepted their mission, the Minions were shown having fun with each other while the narrator asks: "Have you ever wondered where they came from?"

As such, it is expected that the spinoff film will take on the history of the Minions and will offer insight as to who or what these creatures are. Nonetheless, despite having their own differences, the trailer’s voiceover reveals that the Minions’ main goal in life is to search for the “biggest, baddest villain to serve.”

The latest ‘Minions’ trailer is the third clip unveiled by Universal Pictures prior to the film’s official release this July 10.

The yellow creatures were first recognized in the computer-animated comedy film ‘Despicable Me’ in 2010 and its sequel, ‘Despicable Me 2’, in 2013. The latter featured the popular single ‘Happy’ performed by Pharrell Williams.

The third film in the series, ‘Despicable Me 3’, has been set for a release on June 30, 2017.

‘Minions’ is co-directed by Pierre Coffin, who also helmed the past ‘Despicable Me’ movies, as well as Kyle Balda, who worked on numerous animation projects including ‘A Bug’s Life’ and ‘Toy Story 2.’

With a script written by Bryan Lynch (‘Hop’, ‘Puss in Boots’), ‘Minions’ has been set for a U.S. release on July 10 and for an earlier schedule in UK theaters on June 26. Its trailer is available below.
