French car-maker Peugeot has created a virtual supercar exclusively for "Gran Turismo 6."

The high-power digital sports car will be unveiled as a content update that gamers can download for free, Digital Trends reported.

Dubbed as the Peugeot Vision Gran Turismo, this supercar is powered by a central 3.2-liter V-6 engine that sits right behind the driver. This powerful engine is capable of producing 875 brake horsepower.

Paired with the vehicle's six-speed manual transmission and four-wheel capability, the Peugeot Vision Gran Turismo can reach 62mph from zero in just around 1.73 seconds.

Peugeot's virtual supercar stands at 104 centimeters tall and sits on 22-inch alloy wheels in the front and 23-inch alloys in the back. With the low-profile design of the vehicle, the Peugeo Vision Gran Turismo has very minimal aerodynamic features.

All in all, the car weighs around 875 kilograms. Given its mass and engine specs, the supercar has a 1-to-1 weight to power ratio.

According to Peugeot, its digital creation is capable of reaching top speeds of around 205mph. Its deceleration is supported by four Brembo carbon-fiber brake discs.

There are no official announcements yet as to when the Peugeot Vision Gran Turismo content update will be released for "Gran Turismo 6." But according to the game series' official website, PlayStation gamers can expect to get their hands on the free download soon. The car will be available in six colors upon its release.

The Peugeot Vision will be the latest supercar made by a real-world manufacturer that will be included in the "Gran Turismo" series. Once it debuts, gamers can race it against other virtual supercars such as the Chevrolet Chaparral 2X, Volkswagen GTI Supersport and the Alpine Vision Gran Turismo.

As for the possibility of seeing the Peugeot Vision Gran Turismo as a real production model, Insider Car News noted that Peugeot has no plans of transforming the virtual car into a real one.
