Pitch Perfect 2 actress Anna Kendrick is currently 29 years old, and she will be turning 30 come August this year. A lot of young stars might believe that physical aging is the worst thing that could happen to them as they get older, but Kendrick's concerns are on something else entirely.
"Since I'm 30 now or almost 30 or whatever, I've been trying to be more healthy," Kendrick admitted to Ellen DeGeneres when she was a guest star on her show. "And ugh, it's the worst. It's awful."
What's so awful about it is that her body is actually thanking her for making wiser food decisions and giving up on junk food. "The worst part is I feel so much better. That's the worst part. Is that, like, it works."
When she first decided to give healthy eating a go, Kendrick was really skeptical and thought that nothing much would change. But she was very surprised with the results.
"I feel like oh, this is how healthy people feel. Yeah, all right, I get the appeal," she said. "But I was really hoping I would just do it as an experiment, and I would feel exactly the same and I could just go back to eating Taco Bell whenever I wanted."
Kendrick is currently busy promoting her new movie Pitch Perfect 2, which she stars in alongside her good friends Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, and Anna Camp, among many others.
She even said that filming the sequel for Pitch Perfect felt a lot like being in school since she got to spend a lot of time with her friends. And the best part is, they know each other so well that they have already accepted everyone's quirks and personalities.
Doing Pitch Perfect 2 actually felt like a "fever dream" or a "premonition" because the scenes they are shooting already feel so familiar, said Kendrick. We're basically shooting the same movie again - different scenarios, but in a lot of ways, very much the same, so it was trippy."
The only thing different this time is the fact that the girls managed to establish an even deeper bond because they got hooked on a reality show - The Bachelor. Kendrick said that she and the girls would even engage in "group texting" sessions whenever they watch it.
Other cast members of the movie include Hailee Steinfeld, Alexis Knapp, Katey Segal, Adam DeVine, Skylar Astin, Hana Mae Lee, and Ben Platt.
