With the release date for Pitch Perfect 2 drawing nearer, fans and followers of the film appear to be speculating on the potential third installment, Pitch Perfect 3. While no official word has been released regarding this matter, it looks like one of the project's lead stars, Rebel Wilson, explicitly expressed her approval of a possible third movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In fact, Wilson shared her suggestions for the rumored third installment during the Pitch Perfect 2 world premiere in Los Angeles. "All the Bellas are together becoming a legit singing group out of college," she revealed during the interview. "I also think a Fat Amy origins story would be awesome," she added, referring to the character she plays in the flick.

She also disclosed her opinions on the possibility of getting involved in small screen project. "I was a fan of Glee," she admitted. "I'd love to do something where I play a female rapper," Wilson revealed.

As for her future in the movie industry the Fat Amy actress said, "But movie wise I'd love to do a Bette Midler biopic and have all her songs in it. She is like legit, way cool and she's a fan of Pitch Perfect," Wilson said."

Wilson also went on to share her experience with first-time director, Elizabeth Banks. "Sometimes I thought she was Effie from The Hunger Games, she's very strict," she revealed. She admitted that learning about Banks' involvement in the project made them rejoice as they know she'll be understanding of their needs as actors due to her background. "We thought 'oh yay, an actress,'" Wilson shared. "But she really corralled us in and kept us in line," she said.

Meanwhile, Kay Cannon, the writer of both Pitch Perfect films, also echoed the sentiments of Wilson and declared that she will definitely be on-board if a third movie is given a go signal.

"I do want to write the third one. I don't want to give over my baby to someone else," Cannon said. She also added that she wanted "to see Tracy Morgan in it [Pitch Perfect 3]." Cannon shared, "Not only because I think he's hilarious, but I miss him and want to see him perform again.

Pitch Perfect 2 will hit theaters on May 15, 2015.
