The highly anticipated film to wrap up the Hunger Games franchise, Mockingjay Part 2, has its fans and followers eagerly speculating on what could be expected upon its release. While very few details have been provided thus far, the handful information that surfaced were more than enough to fuel the excitement of the public. However, one of the most thrilling clues dropped by sources pertain to the fact that Mockingay Part 2 will primarily be a "war movie," according to Movie News Guide.

Although the love triangle involving Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence; Peeta Mellark, portrayed by Josh Hutcherson; and Gale Hawthorne, a role taken on by Liam Hemsworth, has a lot of romantic fans swooning, the film's director, Francis Lawrence, revealed that the finale will be focused more on the war wage against President Snow.

Following the heartbreaking and a bit scary reunion of Katniss and Peeta in the latter part of Mockingjay Part 1, Lawrence disclosed that the second part of the film will feature Lawrence's character taking charge of the attacks. As manifested in the behavior of Peeta upon seeing Katniss, it was made clear that he was brainwashed by the Capitol. Given her growing feelings for him, seeing her loved one in such a state fueled the rage of Katniss, pushing her to become more intense and fierce in seeking the fulfillment of their goal - to overthrow President Snow.

"Katniss is still messed up from the attack, and Peeta is definitely still messed up," shared the director in an interview with MTV earlier this year. "But because of all of this, Katniss is now fired up in a new way. In 'Mockingjay - Part 1′ she was at a real low point. She was in hiding, and sidelined a bit, and being manipulated by others," he went on to say, referring to the difference in Lawrence's character that will be manifested in Mockingjay Part 2. He then added, "This is like, she's taking charge again."

The director also shared that the next film will be "thematically very different." He said, "['Mockingjay - Part 1′] was about the manipulation of media and propaganda, and this one is a real war movie. Very quickly, we're getting out from the confines of District 13 and back out into the rest of Panem, including the Capitol. It's a very different kind of landscape."

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 is scheduled for release on Nov. 20, 2015.
