While Kristen Stewart will not be reprising her role from ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’, it is expected that majority of the cast members will be returning for the spinoff prequel.

Making an appearance in ‘The Huntsman’, fans can expect the return of Sam Claflin who took on the role of William, the son of Duke Hammond (Vincent Regan) and Snow White’s love interest.

Aside from Claflin, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth will also reprise their roles as Ravenna and the Huntsman in the upcoming film, which will follow the story of the characters before Snow White's arrival.

Other cast members include Emily Blunt and Jessica Chastain as well as Nick Frost, Rob Brydon, Sheridan Smith and Alexandra Roach who will all portray dwarves.

Claflin will also make an appearance in the highly anticipated ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 2’ as Finnick Odair and in the British comedy ‘Their Finest Hour and a Half.’ The 28-year-old actor is also reportedly in talks to join ‘Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One.’

Helmed by director Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, ‘The Huntsman’ will be based on a script written by Frank Darabont, Craig Mazin and Evan Spilliotopoulos. The movie has been set for an official release on April 22, 2016.

Meanwhile, in her latest interview with Elle UK, Theron opened up about how she perceives the concept of feminism and how equal pay among Hollywood stars can make a significant difference.

The ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ revealed that she called for an equal pay for ‘The Huntsman’ after learning through the leaked Sony emails that male actors are often paid with larger profits compared to their female counterparts. Such was the case of the stars in ‘American Hustle.’

Theron was then able to negotiate an increased pay worth $10 million to be equally compensated as her co-star Hemsworth for the ‘Snow White’ prequel.

“I have to give them credit, because once I asked, they said yes,” she shared. “They did not fight it. And maybe that’s the message: that we just need to put our foot down.”

Hemsworth is expected to be one of the first to begin working on the production of ‘The Huntsman’ as he is finalizing his deals with Marvel projects for the time being.
