Famed Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is one tough lady. Despite all the cyber-bullying she has endured, the author remains undeterred and has not shed a single tear. In fact, she is now taking a stand against the people who have been calling her names and using offensive language to put her down.

However, the author admitted that something else entirely reduced her to tears. On her Twitter account, the author wrote: "It's making me tearful. I'm always like this. Bullying never makes me cry, then people are lovely and I bawl."

It all started when Rowling angered nationalists by donating £1million to the No campaign ahead of the Scottish referendum. Because of this, Rowling became the target of online bullying by SNP activists after Ed Miliband's party failed the election.

One Twitter user condemned her as a "traitor to Scotland" and called her a "Blairite scum." There was another who even used foul language coupled with the words "disgusting and slimy."

Rowling, who currently lives in Scotland replied to some of her bashers: "I think it's healthier to hate the policy, not the person. I have friends of all kinds of political beliefs."

It seems like the author got even more miffed the more she responded to her haters since she later replied to someone: "The internet doesn't just offer opportunities for misogynistic abuse, you know. Penis enlargers can also be bought discreetly."

Of course, Rowling's supporters far outnumber her bashers, and the author is so moved by their kind words that she could not help but cry. She even tweeted, "If you could all see the amount of love and support flooding my timeline right now, you would be - as I am - overwhelmed."

A lot of her fans even invited the author to visit their countries and cities after all the commotion she has gone through in Scotland. They sent her beautiful pictures of Yorkshire in England; Waterford in Ireland; Colorado, Pennsylvania, South Carolina in the United States; Egypt; Australia; Netherlands; Brazil; Poland; Canada; France; Barcelona, Spain; Peru; and Italy; among many other places.

Rowling retweeted each one then later said, "Looking at those beautiful pictures reminds me how big the world is and how many more decent people there are than not, so thank you xxx"

In between all of the invites and scathing comments, Rowling also revealed that Newt Scamander, the lead character in her upcoming movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them is from Hufflepuff. Scamander is a magical zoologist and the movie will follow his magical animal adventures and discoveries.
