Disney announced there will be a full-length sequel to ‘Frozen.’ Since then, director Chris Buck revealed that Princess Anna and Queen Elsa of Arendelle will battle an evil king. Character development is along the way as Prince Hans is hinted to be in ‘Frozen 2.’

In a recent trip to Australia, the ‘Frozen’ director picked up a copy of Ozma of Oz by writer L. Frank Baum. Along with a new plot update, speculations have risen that Prince Hans of the Southern Isles is making a comeback. Hans, known as one of the most sinister villains in Disney history may return as a more amicable character. Hans may join the princesses in battling an evil king.

“I realized what we do at Disney is very important. Letting them laugh, cry, making them feel, but basically giving them hope. And that's why I am here and why I'm doing the movies that I do. I take the films that I make very seriously, the messages and the morals that I'm trying to convey," Buck said in an interview with ‘One Plus One.’

After the original 2013 film, Disney released a short seven minute film entitled, ‘Frozen Fever.' It released on March 2015 with Disney’s ‘Cinderella.’ The short film featured Kristen Bell as Anna, Idina Menzel as Elsa, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, Josh Gad as Olaf, Chris Williams as Oaken, Santino Fontana as Hans, and Paul Briggs as Marshmallow.
