Apart from Captain America: Civil War, Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark, more popularly known as Iron Man has no more big screen projects lined up, and it does not look like Marvel Cinematic Universe is in any rush to create the fourth Iron Man film.

As for Iron Man's involvement in Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Guardians of the Galaxy 2, all talks remain just that - talks, stressed the Master Herald. Both way, there is no question that fans would love to see more of the snarky, arrogant, and childish Stark have a go with his opponents on the big screen. And given his demeanor, there are certainly a lot of them!

People have bugged Downey relentlessly about the fourth Iron Man film, so much so that he walked out of an interview one time after Krishan Guru-Murthy went too far with his questions and even touched on the actor's time in jail, political views, and past involvement with drugs.

The actor explained later that he simply walked out instead of answering because he did not want to send the wrong message or example to his fans.

During a Howard Stern radio interview, Downey even described the interviewer as a "weirdo" and a "bottom-feeding mucracker" and wished he had left the interview sooner.

"We're promoting a superhero movie... and this has nothing to do with Guru-Murthy's creepy, dark agenda that I'm feeling all of a sudden," he explained.

However, the actor seemed very pleased in a different interview when a mini Thor threw in some adorable questions about his superhero abilities. Downey even winked at the pint-sized Thor and lauded the young boy for his "excellent questions."

While Iron Man 4 remains a mystery, what has been confirmed, on the other hand, are the third and fourth Avengers film called Infinity War. The first part will be released on May 4, 2018 while the second part has been scheduled for release on May 3, 2019.

Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have jumped on board to write the script together with Jack Kirby and Jim Starlin, while the Russo brothers Anthony and Joe will take on directorial duties from Avengers: Age of Ultron filmmaker Joss Whedon.

The Avengers (or what's left of them, given the fact that Dr. Bruce Banner bolted, thus breaking the heart of Natasha Romanoff) will be battling the mad titan leader Thanos this time around, as the latter searches for the six infinity stones that make up the powerful infinity Gauntlet.

What's more, the next Avengers movie will be filmed using IMAX cameras alone, and it will be the first Hollywood feature film to do so.
