A lot of new developments have happened for the third and fourth Avengers films called: Infinity War Parts 1 and 2, and now it has been confirmed that Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have been tasked by Marvel Cinematic Universe to write it.

Marvel Producer Kevin Feige made the announcement, according to Coming Soon. He said: "Chris and Steve have been an integral part of the Marvel family since the early days of Phase 1, and their works speaks for itself. We couldn't be more excited to have them with us to help guide the Avengers through their biggest story yet."

The two writers will also combine their brains to write the star-studded Captain America: Civil War, which is currently being filmed in Atlanta, Georgia. It has been slated for a May 6, 2016 release. Markus and McFeely have already successfully worked on the films Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Thor: The Dark World, and Marvel's Agent Carter.

The news of their involvement with Infinity War comes tail to tail with the announcement that the third Avengers film will be filmed entirely with IMAX cameras, and it will be the first Hollywood feature film to accomplish this.

Last year, American actor Josh Brolin said that the next Avengers film will be all about "Thanos against everyone," and he will be desperately seeking ways to bring together the six Infinity Stones that have made its appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Avengers: Infinity War will also reveal where Dr. Bruce Banner also known as The Hulk went, and how he managed to hide successfully without Natasha Romanoff finding out, despite her relentless search. It will also be seen how she, together with Captain America have shaped up the new breed of Avengers, which seemed to include the Scarlet Witch.

Meanwhile, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn is excitedly mulling the possibility of the Avengers meeting the Guardians, and hopes that this might pan out in the two-parts Infinity War.

"When I'm asked about the Guardians and their future, and whether they'll meet up with the Avengers I really don't have all that much to say, because some of it isn't decided yet, and I don't want to give away what is decided," he said.

Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 has been scheduled for release in IMAX theatres on May 4, 2018 while Part 2 will be released on May 3, 2019.
