Google has recently announced that it has acquired "Timeful," which will help users organize their tasks through their smartphones.

"The Timeful team has built an impressive system that helps you organize your life by understanding your schedule, habits and needs. You can tell Timeful you want to exercise three times a week or that you need to call the bank by next Tuesday, and their system will make sure you get it done based on an understanding of both your schedule and your priorities," Google shared on its official blog last Monday.

The app is accessible through various Google platforms such as Google Docs, Gmail, and Calendar, so users won't have to worry about missing anything on their schedule, and they can just "focus on being creative and having fun," according to Google.

After Google has acquired Timeful, events from Gmail users' emails are already pulled out and are automatically added on to their calendar, and this is just the beginning.

To those who are unfamiliar with it, Timeful is an iOS scheduling app that syncs with the user's calendar. It utilizes behavioral science, data analysis, and machine learning to provide an optimized time management system, leaving less room for procrastination. It basically makes you do what you have to do, when you need to do it.

Although it already sounds like a nifty app, Google is not quite satisfied yet.

"We still have to do a lot of logistical work ourselves-like deciding to what time exactly we should snooze that Reminder in order to get it done in time for Mom's birthday, or figuring out when to work on that presentation so that it's ready for next week's sales pitch," the company shared on the same blog post.

Timeful is also excited about the event and thanked its investors, advisors, and users on its official website.

Those who are currently using the Timeful app can continue to do so, but the team had announced that its focus will be on Google projects from hereon. Existing users can also export their data from the app by following these instructions
