In preparation for the release of the "Batman: Arkham Knight," game publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that the game will have a Season Pass and Premium Edition.
These bundle deals come with additional content for the game and will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms, according to Gamerant.
The Season Pass costs $39.99 and comes with all of the game's DLCs that will be released within the first six months following "Arkham Knight's" official launch. The Premium Edition, on the other hand, costs $99.99 and comes with the Season Pass and the main game itself.
If purchased independently, the game costs $59.99.
According to a statement from Warner Bros., the DLCs that will come with the Season Pass will bulk up the game's content with "new story missions, additional super villains invading Gotham City, legendary Batmobile skins, advanced challenge maps, alternative character skins and new drivable race tracks," IGN reported.
The publisher, however, didn't go into detail regarding the features of the new missions or the characters that will be included in the game.
But as previously reported, some of the villains that will be featured in upcoming DLCs include the Riddler, Scarecrow, Penguin, Two-Face and the Arkham Knight, who is described as a militarized version of the caped crusader.
In addition, earlier in March, Game Spot reported that those who pre-order "Batman: Arkham Knight" will receive the Harley Quinn DLC for free.
The storyline of this content update takes place before the events set in the main game. Players will take on the role of Quinn as she attempts to rescue her partner-in-crime Poison Ivy who's locked up inside the Bludhaven Police Department.
"Batman: Arkham Knight," the final installment in the "Batman: Arkham" series from Roocksteady Studios is scheduled to be released on June 23 of this year.
