Spring break is a vacation from everyday school or work life. It means hitting Sun-kissed beaches, relaxing and tanning by misty cool waves, and hanging out with close friends while meeting new ones. Team Trouble and Team YOLO will perform dance routines about just that on Week Six of ‘Dancing with the Stars (DWTS),’ also known as “Spring Break Night.” The show airs on Monday, April 20 at 8|7c on ABC.
'DWTS' is a televised reality dance competition that features celebrities dancing with a professional dancer. Each celebrity is paired off with a dancer per season. They compete in front of a panel of judges who determine which couple stays and which pair leaves. Couples are eliminated one week at a time from the competition until one team remains.
Team Trouble consists of four dance duos: Team captain Rumer Willis and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Riker Lynch and Allison Holder, Patti LaBelle and Artem Chigvintsev, and Chris Soules and Witney Carson. Team Trouble will be dancing to “Trouble” by Australian rapper Iggy Azalea featuring American singer Jennifer Hudson.
Team YOLO is made up four pairs: Team captain Nastia Liuukin and Derek Hough, Willow Shields and Mark Ballas, and Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson, and Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess. Team YOLO will dance to “Wipeout” by American rock band The Surfaris.
The choreographed routine will be judged by a panel of four judges, Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Julianne Hough. Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews co-host the show. BBC Worldwide Productions is the producer of ‘DWTS.’
