When Taylor Swift found out that her mother Andrea has been diagnosed with cancer, she decided to share her heartbreak to the world and her fans and celebrity friends all shared that heartbreak with her.

She asked her mother to get a health check as a "Christmas gift" for her just to ease her worries, and so her mother did, but the results that came back were shocking.

"The results came in, and I'm saddened to tell you that my mom has been diagnosed with cancer," she wrote on her Tumblr page. "I'd like to keep the details of her condition and treatment plans private, but she wanted you to know."

No sooner had Swift posted that message that the hashtag PrayforMamaSwift started on Twitter, and that is where all her fans and celebrity pals shared their messages of concern and support.

"God bless you and your mama and family, we'll all be praying," pop superstar Lady Gaga tweeted.

The Mindy Project actress Mindy Kaling told Swift to "stay strong" as she sends love to Mama Swift.

Meanwhile, Good Witch actress Bailee Madison shared a personal experience with her own mother, who also went through the same ordeal. "We've been trying to convince my mom to get checked out for months now, but she hasn't (she focuses on what other people need more than what she needs... I think moms have a way of doing that) but after me reading this to her she has finally agreed," she said.

Madison added that she and her whole family are praying for Swift and her family, and she thanks Mama Swift for sharing this to the world since it is currently inspiring so many people to "take a breath and take care of themselves."

Swift has some of the most loyal and dedicated fans, and they are all letting her know that they have her back 100 percent. JustJared collected some of the most supportive statements from fans, and a fan of Swift's with the Twitter username @fundonswiftie wrote that when her own mother cancer, Swift was there for her. And now that the singer is going through the same thing she did, she believes that people have to be there for Swift as well.

"I hope mama swift knows how big her extended family is and how much we love her. Every single one of us will be praying for her," wrote @TaysPurfection.

Another fan named @swiftschrome even said that they will totally understand it if Swift decides to postpone her singing tour because family should always come first.
