The arrival of Israel David Dillard last April 6 is a joyous occasion for both the Duggar family from 19 Kids and Counting and the Dillards, and they would be pleased to know that the infant, who has been nicknamed Baby Dilly, actually broke records even before leaving the hospital!

The celebrity website Perez Hilton revealed that Baby Dilly, who was born 23 inches long is a record-breaker since he is the longest baby delivered this year, and there was only one other baby born that length back in 2014.

In fact, Baby Dilly was just too big for his newborn clothes that his parents Derick and Jill had to ask their family members to go out and get bigger-sized infant clothes because he just would not fit into any of the clothes that have already been bought for him.

But nobody is complaining. There has already been an outpouring of love and adoration for the baby boy from family, friends, and even fans of the 19 Kids and Counting show.

His grandparents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are eagerly celebrating their new grandson and cannot wait to help his parents raise him.

"Yeah!!! Our sweet new grandson, Israel David Dillard is here. We love him so much already and we love his name!" the couple wrote on their blog. "Our Jill is doing wonderful and Derick seems to have a permanent smile on his face now! Israel is precious and his arrival is just another reminder of how very precious life is and how every child is a gift from God. We are happy grandparents!"

More babies are actually on the way for the Duggar family. Their eldest son Josh and his wife Anna are actually expecting their fourth child - a baby girl.

The couple's first three children are named Mackynzie, Michael, and Marcus.

Anna actually shared in a video that her sister-in-law Jill, who is a first-time mom actually knows a lot more about childbirth and pregnancy than her because she is a midwife, and it has been a treat to experience pregnancy the same time with her.

"It's been a lot of fun," said Anna in a video. "She's feeling pregnancy for the first time so we definitely bounced a lot of ideas off each other and she definitely has a lot of helpful tips. I'm jealous that she knows so much as a first-time mum. It's amazing."
