Chloë Grace Moretz from ‘The Equalizer’ and Kristen Stewart of the ‘Twilight’ series, took a turn and dived into a French film entitled, ‘Clouds of Sils Maria.’ The story is about a female actress named Maria Enders who decides to perform in a stage adaptation of one of her earlier films. 'Clouds of Sils Maria' releases in the United States on Friday, April 10, 2015.

Chloë Grace Moretz plays Jo-Ann Ellis, an American actress. Stewart plays the part of Valentine, Maria's personal assistant. Juliette Binoche who plays Maria Enders is the main protagonist of the film. Actor Lars Eidinger appears as the character of Kaus Diesterweg, Johnny Flynn as Christopher Giles, and Angela Winkler as Rosa Melchior. It was written and directed by Oliver Assayas.

"The whole experience has opened me up to a world that has been undiscovered," Stewart said in a phone interview with the Los Angeles Times. "There's a willingness to risk that you don't find in American movies. They don't feel planned, they feel accomplished and discovered."

Stewart won the César Award for Best Supporting Actress for the film. She is the first American to win the award in twelve years. The last American to win it was Adrien Brody in 2003.

'Clouds of Sils Maria' screened at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, and at the New York Film Festival. On Dec. 2014, the film won the Louis Delluc Prize under the category of Best Film. The film premiered in France on Aug. 20, 2014 and played in 195 theaters. It made $1.1 million in its second week.
