The Drac Pack is back in Hotel Transylvania 2, and it looks like the overbearing but loving father Count Drac (Adam Sandler) is going to be a grandfather!

In the newly-released trailer, Count Drac is climbing up an insanely high tower with grandson in tow, followed by their friends Frankenstein, Mummy, Wolf, and Invisible Man. As soon as they reach the top, he asks his grandson, "Who's ready to fly?" And the young boy excitedly answers, "Me! Me! Like a superhero!"

Count Drac then responds, "Better, like a vampire!"

Their friends are questioning the activity and Frankenstein even worriedly said, "I don't know about this. The kid is half human, maybe he isn't supposed to fly!" However, Count Drac grumpily tells him to be quiet. "This is how they learn. You throw them and they figure it out. It's how I was taught!"

Not knowing any better, the young boy insisted on flying, and Count Drac even said, "You know grandpa is right here when you need him!" Then he throws the boy out of the tower.

He was screaming all the way down and Count Drac did not even bat a lash. Even when his friends kept telling him that his grandson was not flying, he would not budge. It took 22 seconds of suspenseful waiting before Count Drac changed into a bat and swooped in to save his grandson, who thought that the whole process was so fun that he wanted to do it again!

The young boy is the son of Count Drac's vampire daughter (Selena Gomez) and her backpacker husband Jonathan (Andy Samberg). During the first movie, which was released in 2012, Count Drac was so against their relationship that he went to great lengths to keep the couple apart. However, he now seems to have accepted their union and even joyfully welcomed their son.

Other actors who lent their voices to the film include Kevin James as Frankenstein, David Spade as the Invisible Man, Steve Buscemi as Wolf Man, and Cee-lo Green as the Mummy.

The second Hotel Transylvania film will also introduce the old-fashioned vampire Vlad, voiced by Mel Brooks. He checks in to the hotel for a family getaway, but because of his old-fashioned views and Count Drac's modern adjustments, a lot of conflict and hilarity will ensue.

The film is directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, who worked on other animated projects such as Star Wars: Clone Wars, and Samurai Jack.

Hotel Transylvania 2 is slated for release on September 25, 2015.
