Update 1.04 for "NBA 2K15" from developer 2K Sports reportedly eliminates the glitch that prevents players from equipping their characters with new shoes. The patch also improved the overall quality of the game.

Before the update was unveiled, several players complained about not being able to use the sneakers they purchased for their characters. Although this issue was not specified in the patch's notes, various sources claimed that the latest update was able to eliminate this problem, according to Christian Today.

Through update 1.04, players can now mix and match their characters' sneakers with various outfits through the MyPlayer section of the game. Prior to the release of the patch, Steam user Lima was able to find a solution to change the shoes of characters. The steps of the solution were detailed in NBA2K4life website.

According to the Lima, players can create and save a 2K Generic shoe through the game's options menu.

Then, through the MyPlayer Store, they can edit the shoe they created and replace it with a branded shoe such as Adidas or Nike. After creating a new shoe, gamers should save it using the same filename for the first shoe they designed.

Following these steps will let players change the shoes of their characters.

Aside from the shoe glitch, the latest update also included several improvements regarding the overall stability of the game, according to Breathe Cast.

A separate update for the update 2k15 featured various changes to the game such as the accessories and other outfit colors of the characters.

Update 1.04 went live for the PlayStation 4 and PC versions of the game on March 13. Although the size of the patch for the PS4 console is at 2.84 GB, the PC edition is much smaller.

As for the Xbox One version, users of Microsoft's next-gen console will have to wait before getting their hands on the new update.
