The highly popular television show American Horror Story really hit the jackpot after they got Lady Gaga to star in their fifth season, Hotel. Even the show's regulars are thrilled about her appearance, and cannot wait to start working with the "Born This Way" singer.
During the American Horror Story: Freak Show PaleyFest held last March 15, the show's alums Finn Wittrock and Denis O'Hare even offered Lady Gaga some advice to better navigate through the show, as revealed by Just Jared.
Wittrock, who played the psychopathic rich boy Dandy in the fourth season is more concerned about Lady Gaga's health and warned her that working for the show is physically exhausting.
"Get some sleep, because you won't be getting any once you get on set. It's pretty crazy," Wittrock said.
Meanwhile, O'Hare, who was the scheming money-maker Stanley in Freak Show told Lady Gaga to keep an open mind about the whole show.
"Expect everything. You can't plan ahead. The characters are always real, and even though our circumstances are bizarre, we still have to be real characters and we have to think about why things are happening," he said.
Paulson earlier told Vulture that "nothing in the world could be more exciting" than having Lady Gaga in American Freak Show.
"Really, it's Lady Gaga! I mean, come on. It's amazing," she said.
Paulson admitted that she already knew about the singer's involvement prior to Lady Gaga's Twitter announcement.
"I had a bit of an inkling, because the man (Ryan Murphy) told me, but I kept it a secret. I finally said to him, 'If you don't announce this soon, I'm going to bust. I'm going to say something!'" she laughingly shared.
So far, only Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, and Cheyenne Jackson have checked in to Hotel. Both Lady Gaga and Jackson are new to the show, but not Bomer.
He already appeared in Freak Show as a male prostitute who was brutally killed by Dandy. "I love collaborating with Ryan Murphy," he told EW. "I can't confirm nor deny that there will be a romantic relationship with her."
Meanwhile, Jackson has worked with Murphy already in Glee as Dustin Goolsby. "About six months ago, Ryan talked to me and I said it's my absolute favorite show on television. I'm really, really excited... I'm absolutely nervous, but I'm really excited," he said.
For her part, Paulson said she just feels "like letting Ryan know that I am available, if he wants me."
