Since news broke out last week that Jurassic World will actually be the first of a trilogy of movies, it has become more important to find out who among the cast and crew of the deadly theme park will survive and make it to the next two movies.

Director Colin Trevorrow has not been stingy on some details about the upcoming film though, and because of his statements, fans can already set their hearts at ease since two characters will definitely survive the first film.

Who are they? The lead star Chris Pratt won't be their sacrificial lamb for the simple reason that it will get a lot of fans upset. And in an interview with French movie website Premiere, Trevorrow said that Omar Sy's mysterious character will most certainly make it out alive.

"He has a bigger role than you think - he works for Chris Pratt and is also a Raptor tamer. When Chris, who's in charge, is done with training the Velociraptors, Omar brings them to their cage and takes care of them, checking their teeth, these kind of things. He has a very special relationship with them. There's a great scene with Vincent D'Onofrio when Omar speaks French to the Raptors and Vincent pretends to understand what he's saying. I have not tried to Americanize him - he is French and has a great action scene. Everything he does results in a close relationship with the Velociraptors," said the director.

Because of his close proximity with dinosaurs, "everybody expects him to die. I think you'll like what we've planned for him. No one wants to see Omar die" said Trevorrow.

As for the Jurassic World victims, iDigitalTimes has rounded up the people who might become dinosaur bait.

The first is Dr. Henry Wu, who managed to survive in Jurassic Park years ago. But he was the brains behind the fearsome Indominus Rex, so he might just get destroyed by his very own creation.

Next possible victom is Vic Hoskins, the head of Ingen's mercenary army. He and his team will bravely respond to the Indominus Rex issue, but they are simply no match for the dinosaur. As the leader, Vic just might die trying to defeat the dinosaur.

Claire Dearing or Simon Masrani are possible dinosaur baits too. As the owners of Ingen and Jurassic World theme park, it's in their hands that the Indominus Rex was even created in the first place. The whole Jurassic Park franchise has been iffy about having dinosaurs eat women though, so Jurassic World might be the first to have a real woman victim.
