The rebooted all-female Ghostbusters movie has not even made its premiere yet, but now news about an all-new male cast of Ghostbusters is reportedly in the works already.

The male Ghostbusters film will be called Ghost Corps and will be led by original Ghostbusters creative geniuses Ivan Reitman and Dan Aykryod, according to Deadline.

It will be produced and directed by Joe and Anthony Russo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), written by Iron Man 3 and Mission: Impossible 5 writer Drew Pearce, while partners Peter Kiernan and Reid Carolin will be producing.

It is possible that Magic Mike actor Channing Tatum will lead the cast of Ghost Corps alongside Jurassic World actor Chris Pratt. The idea of Ghost Corps came from Reitman and Aykroyd, who got the go signal to create the movie from Sony executives Amy Pascal and Doug Belgrad.

"We want to expand the Ghostbusters universe in ways that will include different films, TV shows, merchandise, all things that are part of modern filmed entertainment," said Reitman. "This is a branded entertainment, a scary supernatural premise mixed with comedy."

Reitman believes that Paul Feig's rebooted version, which stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon will be a big hit come July 2016 since "he's got four of the funniest women in the world, and there will be other surprises to come."

Ghost Corps will take cue from Feig's movie, according to the director. Feig earlier said that his version of the Ghostbusters is inspired heavily by the television series The Walking Dead, especially on how the show "plays with danger."

But Feig assured that his Ghostbusters won't scare the audiences off their seats. "The reason I do a lot of R-rated comedies is that you want a movie to feel honest," explained Feig. "But the Ghostbusters world doesn't need that level of swearing. We'll have to be PG-13 with this one. I would like to make it R-rated, but I won't. You want the biggest number of people to watch it and not be put off by it."

Reitman added that Ghost Corps has a "wonderful idea" that will build on the premise of Feig's work. "Drew will start writing and the hope is to be ready for the Russo Brothers' next window next summer to shoot, with the movie coming out the following year. It's just the beginning of what I hope will be a lot of wonderful movies," he said.

Details about the plot and other cast members will be announced soon.
