Fans of the widely watched television series, NCIS, will be in for a treat in the upcoming episode of the show. In the latest installment for Season 12, not one but two DiNozzos will be delighting the viewers as Tony's dad joins the team in their upcoming mission, according to Cartermatt.com.

One of the trailers released for Episode 17, titled Artful Dodger, features Anthony DiNozzo, Sr., played by Robert Wagner, randomly showing up in the apartment of NCIS Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo, Jr., portrayed by Michael Weatherly - much to the chagrin of the latter. The reason for the sudden visit Senior is later revealed to be a broken heart as his girlfriend, Linda, left him. This is further highlighted by his act of playing the "break up CD" of Junior.

As pointed out in the report, this situation appears to be ironic as the NCIS agent is currently engaged in a strengthening romantic relationship with ATF Agent Zoe Keates, played by Marisol Nichols. Although the audience was not given a glimpse of Junior's girlfriend, her presence became known as the NCIS agent himself mentioned her name a couple of times while talking on the phone. Prior to his discovery of his father lying in wait in his living room, Junior appears to be planning a date with Zoe. He quickly cancels the plan after finding his dad and learning of the sad news.

The second trailer released includes Leroy Jethro Gibbs, played by Mark Harmon, Timothy McGee, portrayed by Sean Murray, and Senior in the first parts. Based on the snippets of conversation, all three men appear to be discussing a ploy to capture suspected criminals. Although this may seem like a normal scene, the audience will undoubtedly find it interesting to note that Senior is not only the one leading the discussion but is also the main character in the enactment of the plan.

Junior rushes in mid-scene and gets caught off-guard as he takes in the scene in the conference room where his father appears to be heading the mission usually led by Gibbs. The younger DiNozzo becomes even more confused upon finding out that his dad will be the main link to the criminals, as explained by a very amused and delighted McGee.

After drama-filled episodes aired in the past, it seems that NCIS fans will be treated to a fun and humorous show this time. This episode will air on March 10, 2015 at 8 PM on CBS.
