Chris Evans' Captain America might be getting a solo film in 2016 with Civil War, but it seems like he is such a popular character that more and more of his fellow Avengers will be making a cameo in his film.

The news that Iron Man also known as Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) will be making a cameo in the film has already been confirmed months before Avengers: Age of Ultron will be shown in theatres, and now even Hawkeye (played by Jeremy Renner) will be making an appearance as well, as confirmed by Empire Online.

Avengers director Joss Whedon did say that Hawkeye will play a bigger role in the new Avengers film, so his involvement in Captain America: Civil War might support his meatier, more important role.

Aside from the Avengers crew, even Spider-Man is said to make a cameo in Captain America: Civil War after Marvel Cinematic Studios and Sony signed a deal to share the web-slinging superhero.

Aside from the big names already mentioned, other superheroes who will be seen in Cap's new film are Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Anthony Mackie as Falcon, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Frank Grillo as Crossbones, Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo, and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, also known as the Winter Soldier.

The directors behind Captain America: The Winter Soldier Joe and Anthony Russo will once again work the camera on Civil War, which will make its premiere in the UK on April 29 next year before heading to the US for May 6.

Meanwhile, Avengers: Age of Ultron will make its way to theatres on April 23 this year.

Going back to Renner, the actor has just signed on the movie Story of Your Life. He will star in it alongside Enchanted actress Amy Adams, with Denis Villeneuve taking on the directoril seat.

The story will be all about expert linguist (Adams) who was put on the spot to help mankind when an alien species landed their vessels around the world. Through her, mankind will try to communicate with the aliens. What's more, Adams' character starts experiencing vivid flashbacks that help her understand the aliens and discover the secret behind their arrival.

Renner is going to portray a physics professor who will help Adams' character with the task at hand.

The script will be written by Eric Heisserer, which is adapted from Ted Chiang's short story. Shooting will start this June.
