It's time for slime as Nickelodeon announced the official nominees for the 28th Kids' Choice Awards. Last Friday, it was made known that numerous A-listers will be gracing the stage this March as they present and accept awards as well as perform live for their young fans.

Taylor Swift, Angelina Jolie, Beyonce, Katy Perry, Cameron Diaz and Meryl Streep are among those who have been included on the official list of nominees.

Swift, Perry and Beyonce will be competing in the favorite female singer category together with Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj and Selena Gomez.

For their male counterparts, Sam Smith, Pharrell Williams, Nick Jonas, Bruno Mars and Blake Shelton are to compete for favorite male singer.

Iggy Azalea has also bagged a nomination together with Jessie J, Meghan Trainor, Echosmith, Fifth Harmony and 5 Seconds of Summer for the favorite new artist category.

Going to bands, only one nominee from Coldplay, Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons, Maroon 5, One Direction and One Republic will be going home with the favorite music group award.

When it comes to movies, Hollywood celebs have also been selected for a chance to take home a mini-blimp. These include Hugh Jackman, Ben Stiller, Jamie Foxx, Mark Wahlberg, Steve Carell and Will Arnett for favorite movie actor.

Jackman was also nominated for favorite male action star for his performance on 'X-Men: Days of Future Past.' His 'X-Men' costar Halle Berry will also compete in the favorite female action star category.

Competing for the favorite movie actress category are Jolie and Diaz along with Emma Stone, Elle Fanning, Jennifer Garner and Megan Fox.

Blockbuster hit 'Guardians of the Galaxy' has been set to compete with other hero movies 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' and 'Teenage Murant Ninja Turtles.'

Films such as 'Big Hero 6', 'The Lego Movie' and more have also been nominated for favorite animated film.

As for television nods, various cartoons, reality shows and kids' TV shows have been recognized. These include 'SpongeBob Squarepants' and 'Adventure Time' for favorite cartoon, 'Cupcake Wars' and 'MasterChef Junior' for favorite reality show, and 'Austin & Ally' and 'Dog with A Blog' for favorite kids' TV show.

Even books were given their respective nods as the 'Divergent' series, 'The Fault in Our Stars' and 'The Maze Runner' were nominated for favorite book.

Winners for Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards will be revealed on March 28 at 8p.m.
