Critics love to slam the Twilight franchise and the actors involved in the film, but Kristen Stewart, the actress who played Bella Swan in the series is extremely proud of the movies nonetheless.

Interview Magazine revealed that Stewart has no problem with Twilight bashers, but she herself has nothing but good things to say about the films and she will always look fondly on the work she has done for it.

My memory of it felt-still feels-really good," she said during the interview.

And she should be proud, since The Twilight saga was a huge box office it as the five films grossed over $3.3 billion worldwide.

It was also due to The Twilight Saga that Stewart and former beau Robert Pattinson became big names in the industry.

But despite the pride she feels towards the movies, it seems like she is eager to take on different movie roles. She went to appear on a series of independent films such as Camp X-Ray, Clouds of Sils Maria, and Still Alice.

She even said that she would love to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and play a role in Captain America. Many bashers would definitely have a lot to say again should she be cast in the film, and Stewart surprisingly agrees.

She said that she gives her all in each role she portrays, and there would always be a little bit of her in her characters, even if she is Bella Swan or Snow White, or any other character she has played or will ever portray.

"Every movie that I've done, they don't stand independently from one another because a little bit of me is in every single one of those, and it's part of my own personal growth. I don't think that there's much hiding that actors can do. If you're doing good work, you're showing a part of yourself to someone," she said.

Aside from acting, it seems like Stewart has tried writing poetry and painting and even hopes to one day create her own movie. "I'm trying to develop a little more faith in my hand, because everything that I do in terms of productivity is always really cerebral. So I've made a few paintings. I'm trying to find a crew, too, because I really want to start making my own movies. I just need to find my guys," she shared.
