Former Navy Lieutenant Sean Banks, who was convicted of forcible sexual penetration and four other charges, has officially been found as guilty. His sentence is 44 years of imprisonment.

Banks was charged with having raped two women that he met through ChristianMingle.com and Match.com. The two women, who are only identified as K.K. and R.O., testified on court as to how Banks allegedly had raped them.

K.K., who met Banks through ChristianMingle.com, said that he started making sexual advances on her on their first date. An NBC San Diego report records the victim’s lawyer saying that Banks jammed his finger “down the inside of her pants and digitally penetrate[d] her vagina with his finger.” The report further says that she invited him to her apartment when it happened.

Meanwhile, Banks’ defense attorney claimed that “Banks thought the sex was consensual,” according to the same NBC report.

R.O. met Banks through Match.com, and in her case, Banks had raped her while she was unconscious.

Neither of the victims knew Banks by his real name, as he used several fake names including Rarity and Rylan, according to numerous reports.
