Fans and followers of the phenomenal five-girl group, the Spice Girls, would be extremely thrilled to know that four unreleased singles were inexplicably uploaded on the Swedish online audio distribution site, SoundCloud, on Wednesday, according to Entertainment News Online.
Although the group disbanded 15 years ago following the release of their final album, which was called Forever, these tracks appeared to be a gift to the fans longing to hear the girls sing together once more.
However, the four tracks leaked online no longer featured Geri Halliwell, otherwise known as Ginger Spice. Hence, it was presumed that the songs were recorded following her abrupt departure from the group in 2000.
One of the unreleased singles recently uploaded is "Right Back At Ya." According to some reports, this latest single released to the public was a pop version of the song. However, the three other songs uploaded, namely, "Pain Proof," "A Day In Your Life," and "If It's Lovin' On Your Mind," are all unfamiliar pieces to the fans of the highly popular girl group.
The album released in 2000, Forever, was the last one ever made by the ladies. However, only Victoria Beckham, who was then called Posh Spice; Melanie Brown was Scary Spice; Emma Bunton was hailed as Baby Spice; and Melanie Chisholm was dubbed as Sporty Spice, were part of the said album. At that point, the Spice Girls already lost one member who suddenly left the group without any explanation after the Spiceworld Tour in 1998.
However, all five girls reunited in 2007 to create the Greatest Hits album. The same year also marked the reunion concert of all the members of the Spice Girls as they worked together for the World Tour, which lasted from December 2007 to February 2008.
The songs were presumably produced by the same people behind the albums and singles of the Spice Girls throughout the group's run. Hence, it could be expected that both Richard Stannard and Matt Rowe will once again be the personalities in charge of these latest songs.
