Naya Rivera will remain as a fixture in primetime television even after the final season of Fox Network's musical, Glee, wraps up as she landed a recurring role in another hit small screen show, Devious Maids, according to a report from Deadline.

Rivera's role, named Blanca, in Marc Cherry's Lifetime series will be a completely new character in the show. She will be the newest housekeeper in the high-end neighborhood of Beverly Hills. Her new job, however, eventually led her to discover a shocking and terrible secret of the picture-perfect family she works for which could potentially alter the course of her life.

Rivera will be joining the daytime drama in its third season.

Apart from this role, Rivera will reportedly be invited back to co-host several episodes of the Barbara Walters-created show, "The View," this month. The speculations began when the talk show gained extensive exposure following the first appearance of the Glee star when she gave her candid opinions on various subjects such as Justin Bieber's selfies and latest commercial endorsement as well as the hygiene habits of certain demographics.

If the project with "The View" comes into fruition, Rivera will be working alongside Whoopi Goldberg, whom she also worked with in Glee as the formidable Carmen Tibideaux; Rosie O'Donnell, who is a regular of small screen shows like The Fosters, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Drop Dead Diva; and Rosie Perez, who appeared in a number of primetime series including Frasier, Lipstick Jungle, and Nurse Jackie.

The Glee star will also be working with another staple in the hosting world, Nicole Wallace, who took part in various talk shows such as Late Show with David Letterman, Entertainment Tonight, Fox News Sunday, and Good Morning America.

A report from Cartermatt.com revealed that Rivera is not the only one who will have a new project after Glee.

Jane Lynch, who played the role of the infamous Coach Sue Sylvester, will appear in numerous talk shows, while Heather Morris, who brought to life the lovable Brittany Pierce, will be seen in various movies this year. Lea Michele, the extremely talented Rachel Berry, will be working again with the show's creator, Ryan Murphy, in his project titled "Scream Queens."
