Princess Anna is in for a treat in "Frozen Fever," since her sister Queen Elsa and the rest of their friends are planning the ultimate birthday surprise for her. The short film is scheduled to hit theatres on March 13, right before the action movie Cinderella, according to E! Online.

Some favorite characters from the original Frozen movie will return for Frozen Fever, including Princess Anna's boyfriend Kristoff and Olaf the snowman.

"In Frozen Fever, Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give Anna her best birthday celebration ever, but Elsa's icy powers may put more than just the party at risk," the short film's narrative read.

Queen Elsa and Kristoff will be teaming up to surprise Princess Anna, while Olaf will be trying to sneak in a taste of dessert before the party actually starts. But it seems like Queen Elsa's uncontrollable icy powers just might ruin the surprise.

The mini film will also feature songs from Oscar winners Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, the duo behind the hit song "Let It Go." It will be directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck.

Despite the movie's success (it raked in over $1.2 billion worldwide!), there is still no confirmation regarding a full-on sequel.

When The Telegraph asked singer Idina Menzel, the voice behind "Let It Go," for news about a follow-up film, she answered, "I don't know what will happen with the stage show but the movie, hopefully. We'll see. I'm just going along for the ride."

On another development, Disney has been offered $ 20.2 million to have them film "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" in their country.

Variety reported that George Brandis, the Australian Federal Arts Minister, agreed to the deal after engaging in several lengthy negotiations with Disney.

"The government is pleased to agree to Disney's request to enable earlier funding to be repurposed for the production of Pirates of the Caribbean 5. Any decision to film productions in Australia is a commercial matter for Disney," he said.

The report added that the funding "falls short" of the figure Disney is expecting "but it remains possible that Australian state governments will provide further cash in order to bring the production to regional locations and studios."

Production for "Dead Men Tell No Tales" is expected to begin early this 2015, while the release date of the film will be sometime in 2017.
