Popular Christian singer and actor Carman Licciardello, who simply goes by the name Carman, said that he could not have gotten through his cancer treatments without the grace of God.

He recently posted a photo of him undergoing chemo and a photo of him in the present, proudly cancer-free state. He posted it on Facebook on Tuesday and captioned it, "The Difference One Year Can Make."

"I remember so well washing my hair after the 3rd week of chemotherapy and seeing it all come off in my hands in clumps. I remember the agony of that giant needle in my sternum to draw out stem cells. The ports they planted in my chest to daily inject drugs. The mind numbing pain of my bones expanding to produce stem cells," he painfully recalled.

Carman also shared how he would sleep in the bathroom for days because he constantly had to throw up and suffered from "violent stomach cramps."

Despite everything he suffered, Carman maintained a positive attitude. "I remember never getting angry or depressed. Never feeling abandoned or hopeless," he wrote. "It was the valley of the shadow of death but I feared no evil."

He also shared his commitment to getting better after he promised his Facebook and Kickstarter supporters that he will go on a "No Plan B Tour" all across America to sing the Gospel once he is well again. Carman explained that there is no plan B because Jesus is his plan A.

"I have a few good years and before it's too late I want to see your faces, shake your hands and hug your necks. But mostly I want to see one of you get healed of what threatens your future and I really want to see someone you love come to Christ," he said.

In February 2014, Carman received news from his doctors that they could no longer find traces of cancer in his body, just one year after he was diagnosed with incurable multiple myeloma.

"I remember the belief you all had in me that held my mind together, kept me strong, focused and peaceful," he wrote. "Today I'm strong and cancer-free."

And Carman isn't stopping there. He now has a full-time trainer encouraging him to maintain a healthy lifestyle and ensure that he not only keeps fit but eats healthy as well.

"God can turn anything around," Carman added. "He can keep you through the (worst) of times. Restore the years the locusts have eaten away. Give you peace and confidence when everyone else is (losing their) minds. I've been through it. I know."
