The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has once again shocked the world as the radical terrorist group executed 13 teenage boys last week because they were watching a soccer game in the Al-Yarmouk district, the Daily Mail reported.

According to reports, the boys were watching the Iraq versus Jordan Asian Cup soccer match, which was held in Australia, with Iraq winning 1-0. They were caught by the militants in the Iraqi city of Mosul, which ISIS now controls. The boys were rounded up and their "crime" was even publicly announced before they were shot repeatedly by a firing squad using machine guns.

ISIS seems to believe now that watching a soccer match is now an act that is deemed punishable by death under ISIS' sharia law.

Other gruesome executions committed by ISIS in the name of sharia law recently include stoning to death a women guilty of adultery.

There was also the public execution of two gay men in Mosul after they were accused of committing a homosexual act. They were thrown to death from the top of an extremely tall building in front of a large crowd.

The photos of the execution showed the men being led to the edge of the building's roof, followed by another photo showing the men's bodies lying mangled on the ground.

ISIS even crucified two bandits, who were first transported to the place of execution in the back of a pickup truck. Their wrists were tied and the men were wearing masks. They were later taken out of the truck, had their crimes publicly announced, then finally shot in the back of the head. The militants simply left their bodies after they were killed.

Moreover, the Islamic State is reportedly unaffected by the heavy winter storms currently hitting Iraq and Syria.

United States military officials told New York Post that the terrorists are not weakened by the severe weather conditions that have affected Syrian and Iraqi refugees.

"ISIS is a well-funded group, able to purchase cold-weather equipment," said one US military official. "Also, while there are some foreign fighters, the vast majority of ISIS are from the area, so they know how to adjust for weather conditions."
