As the mid-season premiere of ‘The Walking Dead’ season six draws near, several details about the finale have already made the headlines. According to The Spoiling Dead Fans, rivals Carol (Melissa McBride) and Morgan (Lennie James) could be facing grave dangers in episode 16.

As pointed out by the fan site, McBride and James both filmed a scene in November in which a “mystery male character” pointed “his gun at someone.” However, because of the scene being blocked off, it is unclear whether the said character will shoot the weapon or not.

Moreover, the Spoiling Dead Fans shared that a fighter “was seen circling over someone (possibly Carol).” He went on to speak to the man holding the weapon and leaned over the person lying on the ground. It remains unknown whether Morgan takes down the man, or the man is able to fight back and finally kill off Morgan.

According to witnesses, McBride looked untidy as she filmed the scene; the insiders shared that one side of her face had been either “very dirty or bruised.” They also claimed that she could have been the person lying on the ground.

While it is unclear whether the duo will be able to make it out of the season and to the next, actor Ross Marquand opened up to ComicBook.com last year and shared how he found the finale to be “the most rot, like emotionally rot, and dark episode” he has ever come across in his acting career.

"I've never seen or read an episode that is so dark and so compelling in my life and that's the God's honest truth," stated Marquand, who takes on the role of Aaron on the hit zombie drama.

The actor admitted that the script was twisted enough to make his stop reading a couple of times.

"I told Andy, I don't normally get so affected by scripts that I have to put them down, but I had to stop reading this at three different times," he shared. "I couldn't read it, it was messing me up. It was tough to read. It's phenomenal writing but it's just so emotionally dark and twisted that we had to put it down several times."

"The Walking Dead" season six is set to return with episode nine, titled ‘No Way Out’ on Sunday, Feb. 14, at 9 p.m. on AMC. The official trailer for the episode can be viewed below.
