The sequel for "Snow White and the Huntsman," which has been titled "The Huntsman: Winter's War" will be even bigger and better than its predecessor - at least, lead star Chris Hemsworth guarantees that it will be.

According to the Australian actor, the first film was great and all, but it needed a storyline boost and needed to focus more on its romantic angle.

"When I saw the first 'Snow White,' I went, '(Expletive), I wish we had more of this, this and this,'" Hemsworth shared with Cinema Blend. "I loved it, but I felt like... (It needed a) sense of fun and adventure. It got very dark and heavy, and so, and there was a lack of love story. We weren't specific on what that was."

The love angle of the first film was centered on Hemsworth's character the Huntsman and Kristen Stewart's Snow White. However, since Stewart's controversial affair with the original film's director Rupert Sanders, the two have been booted out of the sequel. Sanders has been replaced by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, while the franchise enlisted two more actresses - Emily Blunt and Jessica Chastain to round up the cast which consisted of Hemsworth and Charlize Theron as the evil queen.

Hemsworth loves what they have already done to "The Huntsman: Winter's War," and he is excited for moviegoers to fall in love with their stories.

"This time around, there's a solid love story and a great relationship between Jessica Chastain's character and mine, which is the heart of the story. But it's a lot more fun, much more in the vein of say, 'Willow,' or something," he said.

Meanwhile, in a different interview with Indie Wire, Hemsworth said that he is planning to take a break from filming action movies because it can get pretty exhausting, even though he would "probably get bored if I did that."

"But, actually, yeah, a lot of the time, doing big, sort of epic films like this, and 'The Huntsman' sequel I just did, 'Thor,' it's exhausting. Physically draining, and emotionally, too. Just yesterday, I said to my (team), 'I want to find something that's contemporary, a drama, where there's less action.' As much as I love it, it would be nice to settle a little bit," he said.

Hemsworth did not even mention the rigorous weight loss he had to do for "In the Heart of the Sea," where he went from weighing 215 pounds to only 175.

"The Huntsman: Winter's War" will be released on April 22, 2016.
