The cast members of ‘Teen Wolf’ were all present at their New York Comic Con panel on Friday, Oct. 9.

Tyler Posey (Scott), Dylan Sprayberry (Liam), Cody Christian (Theo) and J.R. Bourne (Chris) graced the event with their presence alongside the MTV series’ executive producer Jeff Davis. They unveiled the latest trailer for the show's highly anticipated season 5B and were open to answering questions from fans.

Posey was quick to point out that the program’s level of violence will remain the same, although Davis clarified that the upcoming episodes will have a lighter tone compared to the first half of the season.

In the new trailer, Scott can be seen reaching out to Chris to seek his help, although it remains unclear as to why he needs Papa Argent’s immediate support. Besides Chris, Davis also revealed that there will be at least one more Argent who is set to make a comeback on ‘Teen Wolf’ season 5B. This might mean the return of Chris’ dad, Gerard (Michael Hogan), or his werejaguar sibling, Kate (Jill Wagner), or even both.

It is also likely that fans could see Allison (Crystal Reed) and/or her mother (Eaddy Mays) to come back from the dead when the second half of the fifth season premieres next year.

As for Deucalion (Gideon Emery), he is certainly making a return, although fans will have to keep guessing as to how the alpha werewolf will revisit the story.

"Deucalion is back and his eyes aren't the same," Davis teased at the panel.

"We've been thinking, 'How do we get Gideon Emery back in a story?'" the executive producer further stated in an interview with Forbes after the panel. "He was such a fun guy. He was such a fun actor to have and such a pro to work with."

Meanwhile, Scott’s pack also sets out for their mission to rescue Lydia out of Eichen House. According to Davis, the group’s success in taking out the banshee from the mental health facility will strongly be influenced by Stiles’ attempts.

The same group might also be teaming up with Theo and offer him a truce to engage in battle with The Beast, a gruesome successful chimera.

"Your pack and mine, we're going to be fighting for our lives," Theo tells Scott in the trailer.

MTV’s ‘Teen Wolf’ Season 5B will premiere on Jan. 5, 2016 and will now air every Tuesday at 9 p.m. The trailer is available below.
