Cast sightings from the ongoing ‘Game of Thrones’ season six filming in different European cities have been gracing the headlines, and the latest reports are pointing to Lena Headey making a comeback on set as Cersei Lannister.

According to a report by Watchers on the Wall, fans spotted the actress wearing her costume on set. The HBO hit series seemingly returned to Croatia for at least a number of scenes for the sixth season. Such location has been used as King’s Landing since the show’s first season.

The set where the mother-of-two had been photographed was designed to resemble a small harbor within King’s Landing. In the images, Headey wears a short blonde wig due to Cersei’s unfrogettable walk of shame in the ‘Game of Thrones’ season five finale titled ‘Mother’s Mercy.’

Notably, Cersei wears a colored gown, which is a first since the death of her son, Joffrey Baratheon. As such, this could mean that she remains unaware of her daughter, Myrcella, dying on her way home to King’s Landing after being poisoned in the same episode.

Reports also claimed that Headey was accompanied by Thor Björnsson, who plays Gregor ‘The Mountain’ Clegane in the fantasy drama. His vicious character was mortally wounded, but was saved from death and was transformed into Ser Robert Strong, a blue-tinged member of the Kingsguard.

"I don’t think she’s incredibly happy. I don’t think she likes very many people, even less than before, if that’s even possible. She’s made more enemies," Headey described Cersei, who is expected to seek revenge. "I think she’s in a state of pure vengeance, but I don’t think it’s going to be straightforward because it’s her. It is exciting. If I don’t die.”

Meanwhile, another dead character is expected to make an appearance anytime in ‘Game of Thrones’ season six.

Sibel Kekilli, who played Tyrion Lannister’s (Peter Dinklage) lover Shae in the first four seasons, was recently spotted in Peñíscola, Spain. The 35-year-old actress was photographed on set wearing clothing resembling the costumes worn by the Meereen people.

‘Game of Thrones’ fan site Direwolves and Dragons also reported that the actress has been staying in the hotel exclusively for the cast members. With Shae’s death in season four, Watchers on The Wall claimed that Kekilli’s character could return as "a vision, a hallucination or a memory in Tyrion's mind combined with the sight of a Meereenese woman."

HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ season six is expected to premiere in spring 2016.
