A new leak has spilled all of the details of the upcoming Nexus 6P handset from Huawei a day before its official launch.

According to various sources, the leak came from Google, Huawei's partner for the latest Nexus project.

As previously reported, the Nexus from Huawei will be larger than the one LG is also currently developing for the Mountain View-based tech giant.

Based on the information obtained by Android Police, the Nexus 6P will sport a 5.7-inch WQHD screen with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels. Its screen will come with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The smartphone will also feature a metal unibody design and a slimmer frame at only 7.3mm.

The device will be powered by the version 2.1 Snapdragon 810 processor from Qualcomm. This is the newer version of the chipset that Qualcomm released after the first iteration of the processor model was criticized due to the overheating issues associated with it.

Google claimed that with this chipset on board, future owners of the Huawei Nexus 6P will be able to use their devices for work, games and watching videos without any problems.

The Nexus 6P will pack 3GB of RAM and will have 32, 64 and 128GB internal storage capabilities.

For its camera configuration, Huawei equipped its upcoming device with a 12.3-megapixel main shooter paired with an 8-megapixel selfie snapper.

As noted in Google's leak, the device's camera captures more light which means it will be able to capture detailed images even in low-light conditions, according to GSM Arena. In addition, it will also feature a faster Google Camera app.

Like other flagship smartphones currently available in the market, the Nexus 6P from Huawei and Google will also feature a fingerprint reader. This feature will allow users to access the device even without typing in their passwords.

Also, the device will come with a 3,450 mAh battery capacity, Forbes has learned. This spec will certainly appeal to those who are feeling a bit disappointed regarding the insufficient battery capacity of current smartphone models.

The Nexus 6P, as well as the Nexus 5X from LG, are expected to be unveiled by Google at a special event in San Francisco happening tomorrow, September 29. As mentioned in previous reports, these two models will be the first handsets that will run on Google's latest operating system platform, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Google, however, has not yet announced the pricing and availability details of the two Nexus handsets.
