‘Hunger Games’ actress Jennifer Lawrence made a surprise visit to Shriners Hospital for Children in Montreal, Canada on Friday, Aug. 7. Lawrence delighted patients and staff with her bright smile and celebrity presence.

“A very special visitor came by to see some of our patients. Jennifer Lawrence is in town filming and spent some time with our #ShrinersCanada kids today. #JenniferLawrence,” stated Shriners hospital in a Facebook post on Friday.

The hospital posted photos that Lawrence took with children on its official Facebook page. Lawrence signed casts for children with a black Sharpie marker, held infants, and visited patients in their rooms.

Lawrence donned a pair of white jeans, grey shirt, and black heeled sling backs during his visit. She accessorized her look with a long gold necklace. Lawrence styled her blonde hair in a bun.

The 24-year-old actress took a break from shooting ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ to visit the patients. Lawrence is reprising her role as the blue shapeshifting mutant Mystique in the film. Shriners is a Montreal-based pediatric orthopedic hospital.
