Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have been reported to be enjoying quite a lovely relationship as of late and amid the rumors regarding the status of the couple, the "Shake It Off" singer credited one unlikely person in the success of her current romance - Lady Gaga.

The involvement of the "Bad Romance" artist came to light when Swift, who has been widely known to be really hands on when dealing with her fans and followers, shared via social media that Lady Gaga gave her a "magical spell" that eventually led her to "prince charming," according to E Online. The fan, named Alex Goldschmidt, wrote, "I pride myself on still thinking love can be like a romantic comedy but sometimes I just think I'm behind and just won't catch up." This pessimistic post was later responded to by Swift herself who said, "@alexandergold Go read Gaga's tweet that she sent me a few months ago. It's good love luck." She then added, "Because it's not a tweet. It's a magical spell."

In response to the attribution for Swift's blossoming romantic life, Lady Gaga posted on Twitter that her powers are mainly for "good" use. Nonetheless, the "Alejandro" singer clarified that she has no qualms using her "magic" against her enemies. Lady Gaga wrote, "@taylorswift13 I only cast happy spells! Unless there's bad blood. I have a separate cauldron for that. Happy for u."

Earlier this year, the "Blank Space" singer sang praises for Lady Gaga's performance in the Oscars. As is customary for Swift, the artist took to social media to share her admiration for the "Poker Face" star. Swift wrote at the time, "Is it just me or is Lady Gaga, like, fully LIVING right now?!? #goals" This Twitter post was then replied to by Lady Gaga who said, "@taylorswift13 wow you're a sweetheart! Life is friends, family, and love! We all see that in you, your prince charming will come!"

Judging from the way Calvin Harris talked about his relationship with Swift in an interview with Access Hollywood, it appears that Lady Gaga's "magic spell" truly worked. Talking about his relationship with the "Bad Blood" singer, the Scottish DJ shared that his life with her is "absolutely fantastic." Citing that the publicity and the rumors hounding their relationship could be quite difficult to handle, Harris clarifies that he could not get any happier in his life with Swift despite all the complications. He said, "For me it could be a lot worse and I'd still be like insanely happy with her so I'm good with it."
