Singer Taylor Swift honored the United State’s Women’s National Soccer Team by bringing them on stage during her set at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Friday, July 10. Swift, the team, and thousands of fans celebrated the team’s Women’s World Cup victory. Later in the evening, Swift was joined by The Weeknd, Lena Dunham, Lily Aldridge, Hailee Steinfeld, and Gigi Hadid.

“Got to welcome the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team home after their World Cup Victory- I LOVE THEM AND THEY ARE THE NICEST,” tweeted Swift on Saturday morning.

The soccer players held up two American flags and the winner’s trophy as they waved to thousands of fans on stage. Music blared on stage as the group danced and celebrated their 5-2 victory over Japan on Sunday, July 5. One of the players even handed the golden Women’s World Cup trophy to Swift for a brief moment. Swift excitedly held up the trophy for the crowds to see.

The members of the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team are Shannon Boxx, Morgan Brian, Lori Chalupny, Whitney Engen, Tobin Heath, Ashlyn Harris, Kelley O’Hara, Alyssa Naeher, Alex Morgan, Carli Lloyd, Sydney Leroux, Ali Krieger, Meghan Klingenberg, Julie Johnston, Lauren Holiday, Hope Solo, Abby Wambach Becky Sauerbrunn, Amy Rodriguez, Megan Rapinoe, Christie Rampone, Christen Press, and Heather O’Reilly.

Later on in the evening, The Weeknd performed on stage at the ‘1989’ tour with Swift. In another set, Swift brought up her close friends Dunham, Aldridge, Steinfeld, and Hadid to perform ‘Bad Blood.’ Catastrophe, The Trinity, Frostbyte, Slay-Z, and Lucky Fiori recreated scenes from the ‘Bad Blood’ music video.
