With the tumultuous family drama racking the Kardashian clan at the moment, it looks like Kourtney Kardashian found a very surprising ally in her sister's husband, Kanye West, who is reportedly taking on the part of serving as a male role model very seriously to the abandoned kids of Scott Disick.

Despite keeping a cool and calm façade for the children, a source close to Kanye West disclosed that the widely famous rapper is beyond angry at Disick for shirking his responsibilities and choosing to party with other girls instead of figuring out a way to make the situation easier for his children to handle. "Kanye is furious, shared the source, according to People. The insider added, "Maybe the most furious of everyone." The source further revealed that the actions of Disick with regard his children truly disappointed Kanye West. The informant said, "He's saying that a real man doesn't abandon his family like Scott is doing."

When the news broke that Disick decided to up and leave his family to enjoy days in the sun with various girls around him, the public was quite stunned by how emotionally invested Kanye West turned out to be in terms of ensuring that the welfare of the children, Mason, 5, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 6 months, would not be sacrificed, according to Page Six.

In an effort to help Kourtney deal with the reported split with her long time partner, Disick, both Kim Kardashian and Kanye West pitched in by letting Mason tag along in their New York trip to celebrate the Fourth of July. "Kanye took Mason and Sophia to the movies after Kim and Larsa went to lunch at Cipriani," revealed a source to Page Six.

It appears that Kanye West is definitely stepping up to fill the void Disick left in his children. "He [Kanye] has made it crystal clear that he's willing to step in and be a strong male figure to the kids if they need him to be," revealed an insider via People. The source added, "He feels strongly about that."

Meanwhile, some sources claim that Disick is displaying no signs of anxiety over his split with Kourtney. "Scott is completely convinced he'll get Kourtney back when he wants to get her back," revealed an insider to Hollywood Life. The source added, "He is not taking the break up as the last straw, and though he is obviously enjoying being single, his ego is so extreme that he intends on getting her back on his timeframe."
