Kendall and Kylie Jenner might be the queens of social media these days but it appears that the stars of the reality TV series, "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," actually "hate" the platform that hailed them as their rulers. In an interview with The Sunday Times to discuss their upcoming fashion collaboration with Top Shop, the Jenner girls revealed their woes about social media and how this has taken over the world, especially the youth, today.

While both Kendall and Kylie have millions of followers in all their social networking accounts, the two agree that they are missing out quite a lot due to the influence of these site in their lives. Moreover, Kendall shared her belief on the huge part that social media play in the lives of the youth of today including herself and her sister. "I think social media has taken over our generation," Kendall said during the interview. She then went on to say, "It's a big part of our lives and it's kind of sad."

To provide an example on how much the world is missing out on due to everyone's focus on their phones and gadgets, Kendall shared a real life experience with her family. According to her, she and her family went to a vacation in Thailand. Since she left her phone inside her bad, she had nothing to do during the two-hour long ride from the airport to the house they will be staying in. Hence, she decided to observe her surroundings and take in the culture of the country.

"I looked out the window at everything, and I saw people who live in huts and have dogs that were, like, withering away," Kendall shared. "And all their food, meat, was hanging in front of their house. It was very sad. Then we pulled up to this amazing house we were staying at, and I looked over and Kylie was on her phone the whole time and didn't see one thing that I saw," she lamented.

Kendall also admitted that she actually "hates" social media from time to time, according to People. She revealed, "I literally want to throw my phone so I can't look at it." She continued to say, "It's all a made-up world if you think about it. Social media, everything, this interview, everything. It's not real. It's pretty crazy."

Meanwhile, Kylie disclosed her fear of growing old. "I'm scared of the day I turn 19," said the 17-year-old. "I really don't want to grow past 18," she admitted, according to ET Online. Kendall then added, "It's just scary to think how fast everything is rolling and you can't stop it. It's rolling right now." She continued, "You see a picture and you've changed so much in a year."
