Microsoft announced free Xbox One games for Xbox Live gold members - Child of Light and Pool Nation FX.

Multiple reports confirmed that Xbox Live gold members will get "Child of Light" this month. This game was a huge hit last year and is expected to be enjoyed by gamers again this month.

The game, which was developed by the same group who brought the highly successful 'Far Cry 3' video game, is a role-playing game that also has in-game purchase options, similar to DLCs. It features a female character named Aurora, who will meet strange characters as she tries to go back home.

The Ubisoft-developed game was originally made available for $14.99 each. According to The Fuse Joplin, this game is expected be received better than the other free Xbox One game this month - Pool Nation FX.

Pool Nation FX is a game of billiards and trick shots developed by Cherry Pop Games. While it raised eyebrows when it was first released, it also earned praises for certain features like the 12 unique game modes and multiplayer game, where games can put virtual money on the line.

Cheatseet also listed positive things about the game, which makes them convinced Xbox Live gold members should get their hands on this free game.

"Judging by the trailer, the graphics are top notch, with realistic ball physics and lots of stylish flair," Cheatsheet noted. "You can customize the rules of the game, create your own trick shots, and play online or offline multiplayer matches. In other words, it's everything you'd probably want in a pool game."

Pool Nation FX, which was originally priced at $13.99 per copy, and Child of Light will be available for download all-month long this April.

Xbox Live Gold members are entitled for free games every month for a yearly subscription fee of just $60. Microsoft usually gives one free game to Xbox One users, which increased to two for April.

Xbox 360 users with gold subscription usually get two free games per month, but will receive four games this month.

Gears of War: Judgment, which is a third-person shooting game, will be available from April 1 to 15. It was originally priced at $19.99. Terraria that was originally sold for $14.99 will also be available from April 1 to 15.

On the other hand, Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag for Xbox One 360, which was sold for $29.99 will be available for free from April 16 to 30 along with Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel, which was initially priced at $19.99 per copy.
