Another school shooting incident has occurred on Friday in Portland, Ore., where four victims, three of which believed to be high schools students from Rosemary Anderson High School (RAHS), were wounded and taken to the hospital. The three were reported to be conscious when they were brought out of the scene.

A 17-year old and a 20-year old male victim are in serious condition, while a 16-year old femaile is in critical condition due to gun shots. Another victim who is a 19-year old female received medical attention for a grazing wound brought about by the attack, Sgt. Pete Simpson shares.

The shooting occured at the corner of Rosemary Anderson High around noon (3:15 p.m. E.T.). The students fled, most of them back to school premises to ask for help, after the assailant fired the first few gunshots.

The event is believed to be gang-related, according to reports. Police are not sure if the attackers are members of a local gang. Authorites are not ruling out the possibility that the attack was a result of a personal feud against someone from the school.

The suspect was described to be in his early 20s or late teens, and a male. He was seen with two other males who are probaby of the same age. The assailant quickly fled the scene and is being hunted down by local authorities. FBI agents and officers from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were also present at the scene.

Authorites ordered to have Portland Community College and Jefferson High School closed while investigations are on-going. The two schools are located near RAHS.

Rosemary Anderson High School is a community-based alternative school in North Killingsworth, Portland, Ore. They have over 190 at-risk students currently enrolled. These are students who were expelled or have dropped out from other high schools.

Many RAHS students are homeless and look at the school as their last ticket to finish secondary education. The school has been in operation since 1983 and has a 90 per cent graduation rate.
