Korean Churches in Georgia and Alabama Compete in Boys' Soccer Competition

On November 1, the 18th Boys’ Soccer Competition sponsored by the Korean Churches Council of Great Atlanta took place at Harmony Grove Park Soccer Complex at Lilburn, GA. 26 teams competed during this particular competition, including three teams from Auburn and Montgomery in Alabama. Korean Community Presbyterian Church of Atlanta won first place, and New Church of Atlanta came in second.READ MORE

Young adults at Korean First Presbyterian Church in Atlanta hosted an outreach event called “Friend’s Invitation Night” on Saturday, September 20, during which they invited their friends for a night of games and worship. All of the young adults showed much enthusiasm for the event, as some invited one or two friends, while others invited as many as ten friends.READ MORE

Atlanta Korean Christians Reach Out to Community through Prison Ministry

67 volunteers from Mission Agape, Korean Prison Ministry, and Korean churches collaborated together on Friday, September 12, at the Smith State Prison in Savanna, Georgia, to serve and show love to the people there. Volunteers stayed at the kitchen in Korean Community Presbyterian Church until late at night on Thursday night to prepare an ‘enormous amount’ of food, and arrived at 7:30 AM in front of the prison on Friday morning.READ MORE
